May 2 The Domes | Casa Grande AZ

Left behind decades ago, The Domes looks like post apocalyptic shelters. They were supposed to be home to a computer manufacturer, but for one reason or another they were never completed. Four different half open buildings sit riddled with graffiti, murals, and trash.

When I was in high school, it was a popular place for kids to visit where they could be little hoodlums. I didn’t quite fall in that category so I never made it out & I was sad to learn that they were slotted for demolition a few years ago. Much to my surprise, I was at a moto track and was posting a picture to my IG & the Domes came up as a suggested location. They were right behind us, so of course I had to make the stop.

I was so happy that they were still standing! I guess they haven’t gotten around to demolishing them yet, so I’d hurry up and visit if you want to see them.

I had a few friends mention to me it was haunted after they saw my pictures. Apparently its been featured on some ghost hunting show. I didn’t get any weird vibes but I’m sure the place is creepy as fuck at night. There’s no trespassing signs, but there were quite a few people who stopped to check it out while I was there. Definitely be careful as there are sharp objects everywhere, its not a pet or child friendly place. One of the domes is half caved in, so there’s a bunch of debris from that as well.
