Restaurant Review: Vegenation | Las Vegas, Nevada
Vegenation
A community based 100% vegan restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada.
My favorite vegan place in Vegas! I was lucky enough to live within walking distance of their downtown location and I try to stop by whenever I’m in town now.
I was happy to find out they opened another location in Henderson which I visited recently on the way back from Powell. The new location is more spacious and offers easier access than the downtown one with all the same delicious options!
I went for the buffalo cauliflower as it’s long been a favorite of mine. To me, it’s the true highlight of the menu. Hot and spicy buffalo sauce covered cauliflower with a side of vegan ranch dressing. I really miss chicken wings being pescatarian and this is such a satisfying alternative. The ranch is so believable I don’t know how they pull it off. A waitress told me once but I wasn’t quick enough to write down the recipe ;) We also got the ciao margarita pizza which has tomatoes and fresh basil (not pictured).
Our friends were pleasantly surprised with the food offerings, as has anyone I’ve ever taken to Vegetation. Vegans and non-vegans alike can’t get enough of their delicious masterpieces.
Even though I was getting quite full from our order, I had to save room for dessert. Their dessert menu is also 100% plant based, even though they’re so good it’s hard to believe. My birthday treat was the baked Alaska for dessert: locally made ice cream, cake, and toasted meringue. A cherry sauce was the special touch that tied all the flavors together with a sweet but tangy taste. It was absolutely dreamy. I had spent my birthday in the wilderness of Lake Powell so this was quite the belated birthday treat.
